Please be aware of an uptick in a specific type of debit card fraud. In this case, customers are contacted by a fraudster who reports to be a bank employee or a representative of a federal banking agency. The fraudster then convinces the customer to disclose their digital banking credentials. Until this point, the attack resembles what banks across the country have been experiencing for some time. However, once the fraudster obtains account credentials, they change the username, password, security questions, and the ATM PIN. The fraudster will then add the card wallet on their device and steal your money using a contactless ATM.

Neither the bank or any bank examiner will ever contact you asking for your username or password. You should immediately hang up and contact the bank if you receive a call of this nature.
