REQUIREMENTS

Education:High School or GED Equivalent

Experience:

  • 1 year in customer service environment
  • 6 months cash handling experience
  • Prior banking or retail sales experience a plus

Language Ability:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual a plus

Mathematical Skills: Ten Key by touch

Computer Skills: Microsoft Windows, Office and Various software applications

Other Skills:

  • Customer Service skills - phone and direct
  • Cross selling
  • Banking Regulations Knowledge a plus
  • Satisfactory credit history and background check

General Description:

  • Serve customers as their single direct contact for any product or service offered
  • Develop and expand relationships
  • Identify and qualify needs of customers
  • Participate in calling programs

Responsibilities: Serve in capacity of teller and new accounts representative With high impact on customer service.Other duties as assigned.

Teller:

  • Process customer transactions
  • Balance cash drawer
  • Cross Sell Bank products
  • Domestic Collections
  • Greet all customers and maintain customer service standards
  • Manage all inquires and direct lobby traffic
  • Assure and maintain knowledge of job, products, policies and procedures
  • Maintain compliance, regulatory requirements and standards and internal controls
  • Lifting coin up to 50 lbs.

New Accounts:

  • Manage portfolio of profitable relationships
  • Process and deliver accurate and timely account information as required to achieve exceptional customer service standards
  • Profile customers to determine present and future sales opportunities
  • Maintain Compliance, regulatory requirements and standards and internal controls
  • Apply appropriate judgment in exercising established bank policy/limits regarding refund authority, granting credit on new account deposits, and dispute resolution
